Absolutely delicious. The Kobe beef just melts in your mouth. It's on the pricey side but was worth every penny. Everything in this meal was on point, from the starter to the soup. The smell and aroma of the beef cooking fills the entire restaurantThe customer service was superb too, the chef was very attentive and prepared our food with great care and precision. The view is perfect from our seat and he really made an effort trying to start a conversation with us. I can see eating here again.
Teppanyaki style of steak where they cook the food in front of you. The staff is nice and kindly shows and explains what they are about to cook. Have English menu and the staff can speak in English. The food was amazing, with a few selection of the cuts you can have. And if you have friends with you, chef can split the cuts equally so each of you can enjoy different cuts. Although it was quite expensive, 18500 yen for me, it was definitely worth having it at least once. The steak was really tender and just looking at the marbling on it was fascinating. It is the famous Kobe Beef after all.
extremely polite staff and excellent courses cooked how you like. if i had more money, i would come back, but it's definitely a good spot to try out kobe beef.
It was truly a lovely experience! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The Kobe beef was heavenly smooth and tasted like paradise. The complementary dishes worked very well with the star of this meal.I can really recommend this place for a great culinary experience!

Not the greatest meal I’ve ever had. Could make the exact same at home for cheaper. Chef was friendly and taught us steps to eat the beef. Also asked us how we liked our beef cooked. Other staff stood at the door just chatting to each other they looked lost. For the price I would have expected great service but was below par. The Kobe beef was alright wasn’t really melt in your mouth. Would give this a miss for the price definitely not worth it.
Great service, affordable prices. Kobe beef steak fillets were wiked, wicked delicious. Meat was from heaven. Can't describe the experience., But will Highly recommend. It's best to make reservation. What I liked was that there were a few locals eating here Vs other tourists catering Kobe restaurants.
Food, service and the place are just great.
The slice of my Champion Kobe beef rib eye steak had a tendon across. I had not the feeling of the "meat melting in my mouth", as normally described by other people. For the price I paid, I'd prefer the normal Japanese A5 rib eye steak more.
Walked in around 2.30pm. Ordered the Kobe rib eye steak. Was quite expensive, but I guess in this case, it was totally worth it. Truly understand what the "melts in your mouth" Kobe beef experience is now...

Want to try kobe beef? This is the place! Very attentive staff and very nice chef. The chef will let you know how to eat the beef with the different sauce and seasoning including some garlic and wasabi. The kobe beef was very delicious and tender. From the soup, salad to the tea, everything was good.

We ordered the normal A5 Kobe beef sirloin and the Champion A5 Kobe beef sirloin. Both are unbelievable amazing but the Champion is definitely a winner.
There are different options for Kobe and also Wagyu beef to choose from in the menu ranging from ¥5k to over ¥16k. The A5 standard of Kobe beef here is amazing! So far the best beef I've eaten - meat was so soft it literally just melted in my mouth and the taste was excellent! They also had three different kind of condiments to dip with the meat - salt, soy sauce and wasabi. Kobe beef and wasabi are a match made in heaven! Overall a fantastic (albeit pricy) dining experience!
Good restaurant. Western style servings.Beef was good and well cooked but just a beef for me, which means there are few things unique and special thing I could experience other than the fact it was a beef.To me, it seems a bit pricey restaurant, but it's worth.
Went there without reservation. We ordered Kobe Beef Rib Eye Steak and Fillet Steak for dinner, both with Course B. Kobe Beef taste softer and lighter compare to normal fillet, but both still taste very good! Appetiser, soup and salad taste good too! Chef and staffs who serve us is very friendly, they explained the menu and part of beef for you to choose.
Good service, nice environment. You can see your beef cooked in front of you. Kobe beef is just perfect. But its a bit pricey. For two people, we spent almost 40,000Â¥.
Marbling and soft Kobe steak we taste is sirloin and fillet are super good. It takes just little chew then melt in your mouth.

The best Kobe beef ever. Cook it to perfection. We had kobe fillet and kobe sirloin and love them both. The fillet is tastier and softer, but then the sirloin has more fat in between which is also nice.
It’s expensive. But service is good, food is good. We tried one sirloin and one rump set. The rump is cheap and tasty actually if you don’t like very oily steak.
Tried the famous Kobe beef in this shop, and the quality of the meat was exceptional, high grade and cut of meat are used. The only disappointment was that this restaurant cooked the meat using Teppanyaki-style (chef prep and sliced everything for you) and I would like my meat in a chunk, grilled and served on a hot plate.

Beef was very tender and service was excellent! We tried the fillet which was extremely tender and the rib eye has very strong meaty flavor. Recommend to try both and share!

Price is mid to high range. When u are foreigner they tend to recommend higher range price. So, see if u want to spend mid or high range. Mid range beef is already pretty good.

Amazing place for eating Kobe beef. The price is high (of course), but the chef are very nice and helpful with a high cooking skills. For the beef, the fatty parts are much more delicious. We really enjoyed our lunch here.

Great couples experience for those not wishing to blow their budget on some great Kobe beef! We got two orders of the rump (prime cuts we're a little pricy, but probably still worth it!) and it was more than enough to satisfy us. Was great to watch the chef cook it in front of you as well, from the beef to the veggies and garlic chips.

Had lunch reservation, ordered A5 Kobe wagyu filet and Ribeye. Display in entrance showed Prime Kobe wagyu, however the menu showed Choice, with the same price about $190. Asked waiters and front counter, answer is the display in entrance is Old menu. Did not taste “melt in the mouthâ€, comparing regular wagyu we ate in other restaurant, which was really soft and juicy.It is disappointed to have this Kobe A5 wagyu steak at this restaurant. It is overpriced with regular meat. Do not know how other people rated this restaurant with 5 stars. Only good point is the chef is so nice and explained eating steps in details.
Great place for authentic kobe beef, book ahead and request for seat in front of cook. Champion beef was delicious and nicely paired with vegetables, miso soup and optional garlic rice. Beef comes with authentic certificate and a great experience with the chef.. must do in Kobe
Best meat!!! Nothing compares!! I have eaten a lot of food in lots of different countries, but this chef is amazing!! The meat is worth the price and it is expensive to travel this far to not eat such amazing food once in your life. They give a really nice apron as well :)

I'll start off by saying I live in Texas and have a monthly steak club that has, over the last 5 years, eaten at every major steakhouse in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, and nothing I've had so far compares to the unbelievable quality of the A5 Kobe steak I had at Moriya. Absolutely amazing, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to indulge. I came in from Kyoto on an early train to get there at 11 when the opened the lunch service with no reservation and there was no wait - they seated me immediately. The staff was courteous, the chef was amazing, and the steak... oh dear God the steak... ... I just have no words; you have to experience it for yourself.
